A fairytale setting for Outdoor Weddings
Over 32 acres of rolling green hills, canopied trees, and wide skies surround The Julianna. Those that dream of an outdoor ceremony will be delighted to find that we have several spaces to set up and arrange your wedding in both our Garden & Courtyard areas. During the spring, you’ll find thousands of blooms around the property, and gorgeous greenery throughout the summer. In the fall, the trees present bright shades of red, yellow, & orange, which eventually withdraw into a calm scene during winter.
Want an outdoor setting for your wedding, but worry that unpleasant weather will roll in? No problem – our Reception Hall can easily be converted into a Plan B space!
Our wooden arch stands out in the garden on a stone platform and can be fully decorated, or be left to its simple beauty. Either way: it makes for a stunning backdrop to any ceremony, with space to fit up to 150 chairs in front of it.
Your altar location is not restrained to just the wooden arch and stone platform; you could bring in your own floral arch or other decorative backdrops, and configure new arrangements of the aisle and seating areas.
On warm days in the midst of spring, the flowers begin to bloom all around the garden. Greenery can be found behind and around the wooden arch, and pink blossoms cascade around the wooden bridge that leads to the garden. This creates an enchanting fairytale setting for any outdoor ceremony. During the summer months, the trees surrounding the garden offer a cool shade for your guests. The trees and bushes retain their bright green hues, and the long days offer plenty of light for photographs.
